My Story: From Client-Side to Consultant
My career started on the client side, giving me firsthand experience of the real-world challenges businesses face every day. I lived and breathed the pressures of achieving targets, understanding customers, and making marketing budgets work hard. This foundational experience instilled in me a deep empathy for business owners and marketing directors.
From there, I moved to one of the country’s largest marketing agencies. This was an incredible opportunity to scale my understanding, work across a vast array of sectors, and apply sophisticated data strategies to complex problems for diverse clients. It broadened my perspective immensely, exposing me to cutting-edge techniques and high-volume data environments.
Then, 14 years ago, I took the leap and set up Plan A Marketing as a consultant. My goal was to combine the practical, results-driven focus I gained client-side with the strategic depth and analytical rigor perfected at a large agency. It allowed me to offer tailored, impactful solutions directly to businesses who truly needed an experienced, hands-on partner. I’m proud of my roots in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, serving both local businesses and national brands with the same dedication and strategic insight.
